Welcome to The RefLink Network

The RefLink Network was developed in 2005 in conjunction with the Iowa Referee Committee (www.iowareferees.org). The system is designed to allow easier interaction between soccer officials and administrators thoughout an organization or state association.

How does The RefLink Network do this you ask?

The RefLink Network is a centralized network where all users log into one central system (theRefLink.com) to perform all necessary tasks, and where all data is stored. While multiple organizations all use the same central database, the data is securely separated to ensure that only individuals from your organization have access to your organization's data. The central database structure allows for easy interaction between organizations who use the system for such features as assignor tools. At the same time, The RefLink Network will interface seamlessly with an existing website of a state referee committee.

The RefLink Network is uniquely designed to be the one-stop location to serve the needs of all aspects of the officiating community - from referees to instructors, assessors, assignors, and administrators.

Through The RefLink Network, individuals from across a state can log into their own personal account, providing them access to a number of features. As an example through a referee's account, the referee is able to see requirements for assessments, request an assessment via an online form, and once the assessment has been performed, the referee may log into his or her account and view/print the assessment directly from the website. Referees are also able to register for upcoming clinics, take online tests when provided by the State Referee Committee, and more. Individuals are also be able to view records of written and fitness tests they have taken, as well as attendance at clinics that count for recertification hours. In addition, referees will also be able to look up contact information for fellow officials and assignors on the network.

Perhaps the most valuable feature of The RefLink Network is its function as a 100% online registration tool - handling individuals' registrations from the time of entry following an Entry Level Clinic through annual re-registration, including upgrades, downgrades, and everything else that normally requires mountains of paperwork. Even the payment of registration fees can be completely managed and completed from within The RefLink Network using credit card or check/cash payment. Best of all for officials - the system automatically tracks the status of a registration as it progresses through the steps of approval until electronic submission to USSF - avoiding the common question of "when will my registration be approved?"

So what about privacy and security? The RefLink Network is designed to ensure the protection of your personal information, and information such as your social security number is not stored in the database to further protect your privacy. Only limited personal contact information will be made viewable to other network users. Any online monetary transactions are provided through third-party software that is specifically designed to ensure security in online monetary transfers.
