- A US Soccer Position Paper that explains situations in which a team forfeits its right to “10 yards” in situations in which they take a “quick kick” before the defending team can retreat the 10 yards.
- 11/22/2002 – Ceremonial Restarts After Misconduct
- A US Soccer Memorandum that clarifies to officials that, when a card is issued for misconduct, the play must restart “ceremoniously” and that a team does not have the right to a “quick restart” in these situations.
